ISS, Sunita Williams’ current home, is leaking 1.7 kg of Air per Day!
It’s shocking news, to say the least, given the amount of space movies we all might have seen.
But the fact remains the same:
- A leak that was detected in the Russian module on the ISS, or International Space Station, in 2019.
- By April 2024, it was leaking 1.7 kg of air a day!
- Sunita Williams went to ISS on June 5, 2024.
- Repairs have reduced the leakage rate to 1.1 kg air per day!
- While ISS is scheduled for retirement in 2030.

Russia and Turkey Ban Discord
Russia has banned Discord after their Facebook & X or Twitter ban since the Ukraine War!
While a Russian Internet regulator alleged that Discord was posting child pornographic material, Turkey banned it for not sharing its data with the government.
The funny thing is that the Russian military uses Discord for their communication since they do not have a secure messaging channel.
So that’s going to be interesting!

Apple Watch got Some New Features this World Mental Health Day
10th October is celebrated as World Health Day since 1992!

The historic case against Google overseen by the U.S. Department of Justice has finally reached its verdict.
Google has been found guilty of being a great search engine and using tactics to monopolize online searches!
Google might have to be broken apart in the following way:
- Limited or no more exclusive search deals for Google.
- The contracts that incentivized device makers to put Google as default will be changed.
- Users can now choose their default engine.
- Google will have to share their search data with competitors.
- No more access to private user data.

India Win’s its First Bronze in Asian Table Tennis Championship!
Manika Batra, Ayhika Mukherjee, Sreeja Akula, Diya Chitale, and Suthirtha Mukherjee helped India win their first ever Bronze medal at the 2024 Asian Table Tennis Championship happening in Astana, Kazakhstan.
They lost to Japan in the semifinal, and before this year, India has never reached beyond the quarterfinals!
