Get ready to say Bye to the Sitelinks Search Box in Google!
Isn’t it quite helpful when your Google Search bar shows site and app suggestions?
Well, from November 21st, you can cherish these memories as Google has planned to shut down Sitelinks in Search Box.
As per Google, no one uses it anymore, but it sure can come handy in a tough spot!
Impact of Sitelinks Removal from Search Box
- No impact in search rankings.
- No impact on other sitelinks in SERPs or search result pages.
- Removal of Google’s Search Console’s Rich Results Report and markup highlights in Rich Results Test.
The only websites that will be impacted by this change are the ones that relied heavily on sitelinks.

It is a story worth telling as we observed World Polio Day on 24th October 2024.
Polio can cause paralysis and even death in children, but there is no cure for it! Only a vaccine can help in preventing the disease altogether; remember “Do boondh Zindagi ki”?
Well, India had the highest number of Polio cases in 2002, i.e., 741 while it reported its last polio case in 2011.
India underwent a massive Oral vaccination program to cover each and every child below 6 months of age even during the COVID pandemic to ensure that Polio never rises its head again in India!
