What brought the 90-day pause to the Trump Tariff?
The world must be wondering why the US president, Mr Donald Trump, paused the tariffs he had imposed on various countries across the globe.
Well, the answer is due to negative reactions from the bond investors.
The bond market powers US Treasury, which leverages it to settle the country’s debt by selling and/or buying bonds.
And due to the reciprocal tariff move, the bond prices decreased, and yields increased by 0.3 percent.
This created panic in the bond market and led to the pause, while a 10 precent flat tariff is still applicable on all countries except China.

Transition costs will be added to Tariffs: US President
As per the US president, there will be transition costs and time that will be added on to the tariffs, but it will be beautiful in the end.
The US is also planning to put a 50% tariff on those who they feel are the “worst offenders”.
The markets are still confused about how to react to it, and only time will tell.

Why is the US asking Indian Students to Self-deport?
There is a mass panic amongst foreign students in the USA as their visas are getting revoked for minor infractions like speeding, shoplifting and more.
Indian students are also facing this issue and are being asked by the authorities to self-deport themselves within 15 days of visa revocation.
Students can apply for legal help, but there is also a fine of USD 998/day (INR 85,958) after the final visa removal order has been issued.
We hope that this situation gets resolved as soon as possible.

Agent2Agent protocol launched to help communication across AI agents: Google

With their Agent2Agent protocol (A2A), they will support,

Indian startup unveils a System to run AIs without Advanced Chips
Gone are the days when AIs needed advanced GPUs (graphics processing units), as their availability is being controlled by the USA.
Ziroh Labs, along with IIT Madras, has launched Kompact AI, a system that can run large AIs without advanced GPUs.
Kompact AI has been tested on,
- Intel and AMD chips
- Meta Llama 2 and Alibaba’s Qwen 2.5 (on a laptop with an Intel Xeon processor)

Search Quality Rating guideline updated: Google
Google has updated its Search Quality Rating guidelines to target spam.
Below are the updates,
– For better alignment with the Google Search Web Spam Policies, the Page Quality Lowest and Low sections have been updated.
– Guidelines have been expanded to cover minor interpretations and intents for the Needs Met ratings. Illustrative examples are added to help with it.
– Minor changes in Rating ranges, removal of Outdated examples, Typo fixing, and Browsers requirements.
Although these ratings do not directly impact the search rankings, they help Google with its algorithms.
